Greg Henderson Qualified in 1993 and his qualifications include: BSC, MCSP, SRP, and he is a Member of the Acupuncture Association of chartered physiotherapists.
Benefits of the therapy: The therapy is used for the treatment of painful joints and soft tissue injuries by using a range of treatment techniques. The aim of the treatment is to restore full mobility and function. Conditions that are treated include neck and back pain, arthritis, sports injuries and repetitive strain injuries.
Range of therapies: Physiotherapy and Acupuncture.
Joyce Douglas qualified in Holistic massages in 2002, Reflexology and Indian Head Massages in 2003, Aromatherapy in 2004 and Reiki in 2005.
Benefits of the therapy: All therapies (excluding Reiki) rely on gentle touching to increase well being, relieve stress and decrease muscle tension by increasing circulation and stretching of knotted areas. These therapies will benefit all groups of people i.e. the elderly,
those living alone and those living with minor emotional and physical problems.
Range of therapies: Holistic Body Massages, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and Skeletal Balancing.
Margaret Kemp qualified both her 1st and 2nd degree in Reiki in 2000. She qualified in Reflexology in July 1997, and qualified in Indian Head Massages in 2005 and achieved level 3 counselling in 2008.
Benefits of the therapy: Reiki is used to balance both mental and physical energy. Fully clothed the practitioner’s hands hover or lightly touch 12 points of the body to help relax while gently healing. Reflexology because the body is reflected in the feet, reflexology uses gentle pressure to correct any imbalances in the system. Indian Head Massage is used to release tension from the upper body, shoulders, neck, head and face. Through massage the blood flow is improved, toxins are released and lymphatic drainage is stimulated.
